For Messe München you can stay at Hotel Atlanta in the old town and still reach the trade fair without changing trains: from Sendlinger Tor underground station, 50 metres from our door, the U2 runs straight to Messestadt West and Messestadt Ost. During trade fairs there are separate trade-fair rates.
By U2 to the trade fair
The U2 is the trade-fair line: it stops at Messestadt West and Messestadt Ost, depending on the entrance. According to Messe München, the U2 takes just under 20 minutes from the main station without a change – from Sendlinger Tor, one stop further towards the fair, a little less. Which entrance your fair uses is shown on the event’s own page; travel details are on the Messe München website.

Trade-fair rates
During trade fairs Hotel Atlanta charges separate rates. According to our rates, a single room costs from €45 (shower on the floor) to from €100 (shower and WC) at fair times, and a double room from €95 to from €140; triple and four-bed rooms from €50 per person. Group rates are on request.
Trade fair by day, old town by night
After a day at the fair you are back in the old town in no time: from the hotel it is five minutes on foot to Marienplatz and ten minutes to the main station. Fairs such as IFAT take place at the Messe; Messe München publishes the current dates in its event calendar.
